With our rollout on Maui your experience with HEVN begins with a welcome to our ‘ohana via our website. This will help you determine the appropriate electric vehicle for your visit to Hawai‘i and an introduction to your personal concierge agent. Most of your vehicle orientation will take place online with our video tutorials. We will pick you up at the airport in our eco-friendly shuttle buses where you will receive a fresh lei and a review of your award winning HEVN EV with leather interior, upgraded sound system, GPS/Navigation System, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and in some EVs panoramic all-glass sun/moonroofs.
Powered completely by a rechargeable battery so you’ll never need a drop of gas. Provides an emissions free driving experience. Features an electric motor, charge port and lithium-ion battery pack. Plug in the vehicle to fully charge the battery pack.

Hawai‘i, and Maui in particular are on track to have the highest density of EV charging stations per capita than anywhere else in the world, including locations in Hana and inside the Haleakala National Park near the Summit of Mt. Haleakala. The HEVN Smart Charging Network will provide state-of-the-art EV charging equipment for all types of EVs whether Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) or a Zero Emission all-electric battery EV (BEV). You will have access to real time information on the nearest charging stations, availability, suitability for your vehicle, and estimated charging times, as well as OnStar services in all GM EVs all with NO CHARGING COSTS for HEVN customers on the HEVN Smart Charging Network. Our resort, hotel and condominium partners will also take care of your EV charging with NO CHARGING COSTS when you are not using it usually during off-peak evening hours when Maui has a surplus of wind energy that can be utilized to power your EV.
Battery Electric Vehicle range is between 75-265 miles per full charge depending on the EV model and driving style. HEVN Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles have a range from 350-500+ miles. You’ll get large cost savings over traditional gas vehicles where gas is consistently over $4/gallon in Hawai‘i. Recharging for HEVN customers on the HEVN Smart Charging Network is Free.

HEVN will be using both wind and solar generated electricity to charge its electric vehicles. Maui has excellent wind power generation much of which currently is not used at night when we expect most of our cars will be charged utilizing currently unused clean wind energy. At our rental facility in Kahului our EV fleet will be powered by the sun and photovoltaic canopies and a utility scale battery energy storage system.
